General Description

The Book Nook Artisan Cabin is a cosy, handcrafted self-catering retreat set on a working farm. The cabin is designed for rest and relaxation, with a compact open-plan layout and a mezzanine sleeping area, accessed by a farm ladder.

Due to the nature of the building and its setting, the cabin is not suitable for guests with significant mobility impairments.

Arrival & Parking

  • Private Parking:

    • Two dedicated parking spaces are available approximately 30 metres from the cabin entrance.

    • The parking area is level gravel.

    • We are more than happy to help you with your luggage, though do recommend packing light as the cabin is based on tiny home passive house living.

Entrance

  • Lighting: External motion-sensor lighting is provided near the entrance, the car park and the pathway up to the Cabin

  • Entrance door width: approximately 80cm

  • Threshold step: approximately 10–12 cm

  • The entrance opens onto the wraparound deck before entering the cabin.
